We invite EVERYONE to participate. Wheelchair/Pushrim participants are welcomed and encouraged. Full race details at www.bayoucityclassic.org.
We are please to announce our new partnership with presenting sponsor lululemon. The first 1500 registrants will receive a high quality gender-specific lululemon race shirt with the distinctive Bayou City Classic logo designed by local artist and runner April Murphy.
Race shirts will be distributed at Packet Pickup. Preferred sizing available at packet pickup on a first-come-first-served basis.
Those participants who do not receive a lululemon gender-specific shirt will still receive a technical shirt bearing the Bayou City Classic logo. Virtual participants who do not come to packet pick up receive their shirts (size not guaranteed) by mail after the race, so please make sure your mailing address is correct when you register!
All finishers will receive a custom finishers medal.
Proceeds from the Bayou City Classic are donated to the Houston Parks & Recreation Department to improve our city parks and preserve our trees. This non-profit event is organized by the Houston Area Road Runners Association (HARRA), an all volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to promote running as a competitive sport and a healthful exercise. The race has donated over $250,000 for the Parks over the previous eight years!
