COCE Kenya Growing Literacy Virtual Race

Want to move your body and help build a community library in Sijowa, Kenya? Then come be a part of The Collective for Orphan Care and Education (COCE), Kenya's Growing Literacy Virtual Race. 

By signing up for this 5k you will receive a swag bag that contains: a custom 5k medal, a COCE Kenya sticker, and a COCE Kenya pen.

We are excited to have you join our mission to keep children in school and increase children's literacy and educational success in Busia County, Kenya.

What does the registration fee cover? The registration fee covers the cost of swag bags, shipping, and the remainder of the fee goes towards constructing the library in Sijowa, Kenya.

What if I would like to donate more than my registration fee? If you want to donate extra, click on the "Donate" button at the top of this race page. You can make a general donation there.

Do I have to Run?  NO! This is a challenge for all levels, fitness, and abilities.  Run, Walk, Jog, Roll - whatever you choose! 

Can I do the 5K over multiple days?  YES!  If you want to break it up over multiple workouts throughout the day or multiple days do what is best for you!\

Can I create a race team?  Yes! When you register you can create or join a race team.

Where do I enter my results?   This is your challenge. You can post your results under the results tab on the run sign-up page.  However, you do not need to post your results if you do not want to. We would love to have you post your results on Facebook and tag @COCEKenya so we can share in the experience!

Can I create a fundraiser? Yes! Just go to the donate tab and create an individual or team fundraiser.
