The South Texas College of Law Black Law Student's Association is excited to announce the 2020 Virtual "Run to the Polls” Event. Run to the Polls is a virtual 5k run to raise awareness on the importance of voting in the presidential election on November 3rd. No matter your political affiliation it is important for all eligible voters to participate in our democracy by exercising your constitutional right to vote.
The run will take place on October 30,2020 ( last day for early voting in Texas) and will be completely virtual. Runners are encouraged to wear their commemorative race bib while running to serve as a visual reminder to bystanders to get out and vote on November 3. Additionally runners are encouraged check their voter registration status at the link below: https://www.votetexas.gov/register/index.html .
All registered runners will receive a race bib. Please register by October, 20 2020 to receive your registration packet before race day.
The net proceeds of this race will benefit the South Texas College of Law Black Law Student Association.
