South Belt 5K Run/Walk presented by The Bayway Auto Group

The  Bayway Auto Group South Belt 5K benefits the Barry E Harris Memorial Scholarship Fund. The event includes the 5K run/walk/stroller roll (7 am) and a 1K kid's fun run (8 am).  The race starts on the campus of J. Frank Dobie High School, continues into neighboring El Franco Lee Park, and finishes back on Dobie's campus.  The course is USA Track and Field certified and chip-timed.

All participants receive a t-shirt and medal.  Awards will be presented to the top overall male/female runners as well as top runners in each age category 

Preparing for the Houston Marathon or Half Marathon?  This is a great race to use as a speed workout or to gauge your mile pace!

If you prefer to run the race virtually, that is great!  You will still receive a medal and shirt, delivered to your address.  Just send us a link to your run through your running device, Strava, or May My Run and let us celebrate with you!
