For over 75 years, the USO has been the nation's leading organization serving the men and women in the U.S. military, and their families, throughout their time in uniform. From the moment they join, through their assignments and deployments, and as they transition back to their communities, the USO is always by their side. The reach of the USO's 180 locations extends to countries across the world, operated by thousands of staff and volunteers whose goals are to match our service members' vigilance and provide best-in-class service to those who sacrifice so much for America. The USO is not part of the federal government. A congressionally chartered, highly rated 501(c)3 charitable organization, the USO relies on the generosity of individuals, organizations and corporations to support its activities, and is powered by a family of volunteers to accomplish our mission of strength and connection.

The USO Houston serves over 100,000 local and transient military service members and their families at our four centers and community programs each year. Houston is home to a joint reserve base, countless national guard and reserve units, active duty coast guard and recruiting stations for each of the 5 branches. We serve the more than 8,000 actively serving military plus their families with programming focused on:

«  Family Strengthening
«  Health, Wellness & Resiliency
«  Education, Employment & Reintegration
«  Comforting & Connecting Centers.

Camp Buehring and Ali Al Salem, Kuwait hosts over 25,000 military visitors per month and is home to over 10,000 active deployed military! They are the home away from home to our military, giving service members a chance to call home, connect with other service members, snack and relax. With your help we will be able to continue to expand our programs in Houston and across the world.
