Description

The 12th Annual Katy 10 Miler-5 Miler-5k presented by Houston Methodist Orthopedics & Sports Medicine has the fastest and flattest courses in the south.  The City of Katy is surrounded by the major metropolitan of Houston and is along the energy corridor.  As 2nd race in the  Texas 10 Series “Race To The Armadillo Cup”, runners are sure to score some crucial points in their quest for the ARMADILLO CUP, on the streets of Katy.  As a 14-point race, we are sure to see a full field at Texas10 Katy with the always popular post race “CRAZY CASH GIVE AWAY”and clubs vying for valuable points in their quest to be crowned  TEN GALLON CUP champions.

Let us welcome you to Katy – a City with a heart.  “You’ll Love Katy” – the ideal place to Live, Work, and Play.  This is depicted by the welcome sign as you enter our city.  We want you to feel welcome the minute you come to our community.

We strive to keep the “Old Town” heritage alive and at the same time welcome new ideas, businesses, and families to share in the traditions as well as contribute to the new and exciting things that are available in our City.  The benefit of living in Katy is the convenience of being surrounded by the major metropolitan of Houston.  The Katy Mall brings many opportunities to the area.

Our City provides you with a community spirit, safe neighborhoods, and excellent schools.  You can visit the Harvest Plaza that is dedicated to the rice farming community.  Other areas of interest include the Katy Heritage Museum and Park, a new library, and the unique shops of “downtown Katy”.

“You’ll Love Katy” says it all.  Again, welcome – come and see us soon!
