SGCS 5th Annual Making a Difference 5K & 1 Mile Run/Walk

Hosted by Sugar Grove Christian School. The event benefits children of the school and community by helping pay for a gymnasium and classrooms. The school is located off Hwy 59 just south of Houston city limits. The 5K course is a USATF Certified and will be chip timed - USATF TX12121ETM

THE RUN/WALK WILL START AND END AT THE MEADOWS PLACE PARK, 12001 BRIGHTON LANE, MEADOWS PLACE, TEXAS

*Parking is available at the Civic Center on Dorrance and Amblewood. (From this lot, there is a trail that leads you to the Start Line at Meadows Place Park). No parking is allowed in the Meadows Place Elementary parking lot or on streets along the race route.

*Get there early. Roads will be closed by 7:30 a.m. They will re-open when the races are finished (approx. 9:30). Participants will check in at the Registration Table and enter the drawing for prizes. Please note that you may not leave the parking lot until the roads are re-opened.

* Registered participants may pick up their race bags and race bibs at Texas Running Company (15890 SWFY Suite 600 in Sugar Land) Thursday 11/24 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM or at Sugar Grove Christian School Friday 11/25 from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.

*Runners can register the day of the race by going to the Registration Table. Cost will be $35 day of the race.

Race Day Schedule at Meadows Place Park:

6:30 – 7:30 Registration/packet pickup

8:00 5K Run/Walk

8:45 1 Mile Run/Walk

9:15 Post-race Party and Awards
