Let’s take on January together!
WHAT:
PRC is challenging everyone to 20 minutes of healthy activities a day for 21 days. A cakewalk for the distance runners in this group, right? Not so fast…. the 20 minutes activity CANNOT involve running!!!!
This challenge is more about fitness and healthy lifestyle, NOT about running all the miles! Why not ride a bike, swim some laps, take a brisk walk around your hood, try out a few HITT workouts in your living room, or challenge yourself to strength train.
Non-runners, newbie runners, or recovering/rehabbing runners; you may elect to run 20 minutes for some of the days if you are physically up for the challenge. We DO NOT recommend running 21 consecutive days!!!
WHEN:
Challenge kicks off Monday, 1/11 and ends at midnight Sunday, 1/31
WHERE:
This is a virtual challenge. You can do it inside, outside, in your backyard or the living room
RULES:
• We expect participants to abide by all health advisements and restrictions in your area prior to undertaking any physical activity.
• You do not get extra credit for going over 20 minutes per day. You cannot bank your minutes and apply them to another day.
• You must complete the challenge in 21 consecutive days. No skipping a day once you start!
• You can do the challenge solo or with a team.
• Registration is FREE. Once registered, you will need to log your daily activities on the website. We’d love to follow your progress on our FB page, and you already know we live for bragging rights afterwards.
• All finishers will have a chance to win some cool prizes. Details to follow.
