Event Details:

"There are some who bring a light so great to the world, that even after they have gone, the light remains."  The Omar M Isaac Foundation, a Texas Non-Profit, was established as a way to serve charitable, benevolent, civic, educational, veteran, and social purposes including the raising of funds for use with bereaved children and families.  After the loss of her Father unexpectedly, Siena created Omar's 5k in 2019 as a way to honor his memory and to create a legacy of value.  100% of the proceeds of that race went to the Children's Bereavement Center.

We all face challenges in life everyday of every year, and 2020 has been no exception. Loosing a loved one can be a massive challenge and 2020 has led to an extreme bereavement counseling shortage amongst unprecedented demand. This event provides funding to help promote, develop and support the Children's Bereavement Center of South Texas to help deal with the extraordinary circumstances faced during a loss by staying active and moving forward. While you may not live in South Texas, the advocacy that happens here helps extend free counseling services to children and families. 

Although we will miss seeing all of you at the starting line this year, we look forward to seeing your photos, videos and of course those incredible times that you post!!

No age group awards this year but we think you are all WINNERS!!

For San Antonio Residents, we will be dropping off T-Shirts on Friday, January 8th and Saturday, January 9th to everyone that is local!

Otherwise, we will be mailing your shirts!
