Description
Registration is now open for the San Antonio RoadRunners award-winning Walk 2 Run 5K Beginner Training. This is an excellent program for beginner runners, walkers, and those returning to running after time off. Team will meet 2x/week for group training that fosters physical fitness, healthy habits, and running knowledge all in a FUN and ENCOURAGING environment.
We have a place for every pace!
Dates: Oct 9 - Dec 2, 2022.
Weekly Group Runs on Tuesday evenings & Saturday mornings.
Kickoff: Sunday, Oct 9th at 6:30AM at Lady Bird Johnson Park Trailhead.
Training Team shirt or singlet included.
Goal 5K Race: focused on preparing for Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series San Antonio
BONUS: Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series San Antonio: All SARR Training Teams save 10%. Contact Coach David for your code.
Register Early: program is capped at 150.
Training is for SARR Members; join SARR during signup if not a member.
Program is designed for those who have a goal to run or run/walk a 5K (3.1 miles) by graduation.
Led by by SARR RRCA certified coaches.
Flexible weekly workout schedule.
Weekly coaches' email and optional Facebook group for sharing information and team photos.

Current Covid-19 guidelines allow for us to meet in small groups with proper social distancing. Should guidelines or restrictions change before or during our training season we will modify our in-person sessions accordingly.
