PLAYER MEDIA DAY (MANDATORY)
Sunday, February 1 | 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM (time subject to change) | Alamodome

Family and friends are invited to join their all-stars at Media Day! Players will:

take their photo headshots for the game program (must bring and wear high school jersey for this, if you have an all-star teammate, please wear the same color jersey)
be presented with their official player certificates and participate in media interviews for KSAT12. (This will be the only opportunity for media interviews during the All-Star season due to media availability)
Family and friends will have an exclusive opportunity to purchase limited reserved section tickets that will go on sale this day and an opportunity to purchase before they go on sale to the general public and pre-order merchandise (hats, t-shirts, lettermen patches programs)

PRACTICE SCHEDULE

Wednesday, April 8 - Friday, April 10

(NEW - ALL-STAR BASKETBALL COMMUNITY CLINIC ON THURSDAY, APRIL 9: EACH ALL-STAR COACH ALONG WITH THEIR ALL-STAR PLAYERS WILL HOST A FREE COMMUNITY CLINIC AT THEIR RESPECTIVE SCHOOL)

Location: Respective All-Star Coaches High School Gym or other reserved site by Head Coach

Tentative Start Time: 5:30 PM due to players being in school

TEAM PHOTO DAY, TENTATIVE-DATE SUBJECT TO CHANGE (MANDATORY)

Saturday, April 11 | Time: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM | Central Location TBD

Each all-star team will have a assigned time given at a later date for their team photo. All-Star coaches are required for this event. Players will receive their all-star uniforms on this day and we will also allow purchasers to pick up pre-order pickups on this date.

GAME DAY (subject to change, all games will be on KSAT and streamed on Bo Wich Productions)

Sunday, April 12 | Time: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM | Northside Gym (8400 N Loop 1604 E, San Antonio, TX 78249)

Teams that arrive while game is in progress will wait in locker room. There will also be small reserved section in stands for teams to watch games before their game starts.

Session 1 (11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.)*

11:10 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. – 1A-5A Girls Game

1:15 to 3:00 p.m. – 1A-5A Boys Game

3:00 to 3:30 p.m. - Break/Transition Period (Clear Venue for Session 2)

Session 2 (3:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.)*

3:30 p.m. – Doors open for Session 2

3:45 to 3:58 p.m. – Skills Challenge

4:00 to 4:30 p.m. – 3-Point Contest

5:10 to 6:45 p.m. – 6A Girls Game

7:00 to 8:30 p.m.– 6A Boys Game

Description

The San Antonio Sports All-Star Basketball Game, presented by Valero, has served as a celebration of success of boys and girls basketball careers. This new game only in its third year has of more than 120 players from over 60 area high schools will take place Sunday, April 12 at the Northside ISD Sports Gymnasium, located at 8400 N. Loop 1604. It is televised locally on KSAT12. We are excited to official bring on Valero as the title sponsor for this event!

There will be four games total and each session will include a girls’ and boys’ game. The first session tips off from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. while the second session tips off from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. An all-star skills challenge and three-point contest will take place between the afternoon and evening sessions. In total, the game day will showcase 120 top local high school seniors in a competition of Team Blue vs. Team White in two divisions: 1A –5A UIL & TAPPS schools playing in the first session and 6A UIL & 6A TAPPS schools playing in the second session.
