Thank you for checking out my fundraising page! I am Jamie Alcala. I am from San Antonio, Texas where I spend my time running a small business, playing tennis, spending time with my family and hosting community drives that help the many amazing local non-profits. Some of these organizations have included the St. Stephen's Care Center, the Center of Refugee Services, and the Humane Society of the New Braunfels Area.  

I am fundraising for the 2 amazing opportunities coming up over the Summer!

My first opportunity comes in May where I have an opportunity to attend a Mission Trip with Praying Pelican Missions in Puerto Rico. I will join my SLICC sisters and travel to Puerto Rico to help continue to serve alongside local churches in their efforts to clean up, rebuild, and support the local community affected by Hurricanes Irma and Maria.

My second opportunity comes in July where I have the chance to represent Texas at the USA Ambassador National Pageant! This opportunity will allow me to showcase who I am and share my platform with a larger audience, in hopes to continue to bring awareness to the amazing non profits in San Antonio and help spread their missions while on the National Stage of the USA Ambassador Pageant!

My platform Together We Can fuels my passion for community service, volunteering and service projects. I spend my extra time building relationships with non profits in San Antonio to continue to find ways to bring positivity and change to my community- I do this through action and involving people with each project.

This virtual race is how I am fundraising to get to USA Ambassadors Nationals in July. The USA Ambassador Pageant is a charity driven organization promoting Success through Leadership, Integrity, Character and Confidence in today’s women. With your registration, a portion of the profits will  be a huge help getting me to Nationals!
