THE 10K STARTS AT 8am @ Rusell & Camden Sts


REQUIREMENTS

Particpants must be 10 years of age and be able to complete the 6.2 mile course in under 2 hours (15 min/mile pace).  Those who are under 10 may still be eligible to participate but must seek a waiver by contacting customerservice@corrigansports.com

The following items are not permitted on the course: pets, skateboards, bicycles, roller blades, baby joggers, and any other type of vehicle (other than official race vehicles). 

Headphones are strongly discouraged.

FIELD SIZE

The 10K field will be capped at 3,500 teams, with a total of 15,000 runners in all events; although the Race Director reserves the right to change the size of the marathon field.

REGISTRATION

10K participants should register online by selecting the race distance from the race list.  Online registration will close October 18 at 6:00 pm or earlier if the field is filled.  In-Person Registration will be available at packet pick up if space remains. Please register early to take advantage of the best pricing and to avoid a sellout.

Once you have registered, please take the time to confirm the accuracy of the information. You may be able to look up and edit your information by following the instructions HERE.  Many of your questions can be answered by visiting our FAQs page or within the Runner Information Packet that will be published just before race week.

Opportunities to UPGRADE to  a longer distance, DOWNGRADE to a shorter distance or DEFER your entry until 2026 are available with specific deadlines.  Details and deadlines are available on our FAQs page.

THE COUSE

 

The Happy Middle Ground Distance 😉

The Baltimore Running Festival 10K will start at 8am with the full marathoners just outside Gate A of Oriole Park at Camden Yards. 

Together, they will run up Eutaw St. between the famed warehouse and the stadium, making a left on Camden St.  Runners will run right on Paca St. following the marathon course for the first 2 miles. 

At this point the 10k runners will split from the marathoners and make their way to Maryland Ave. before dropping down back into the city and crossing the  finish line on Pratt St.


JOIN A SOCIAL TEAM

Having the support of your friends during your training and race is priceless, but we decided to add an extra incentive! Regardless of when your teammates register, the entire group will get a $10 refund once your team reaches 10 or more members. (The 10th member, and anyone after that, will automatically receive the discounted price. Members 1-9 will get a refund directly back to the card used to  pay for registration.)

Since nearly its inception, the race has had the pleasure of partnering with Charm City stalwart Under Armour who provides an unforgetable race premium to our participants

Not every race is able to provide a giveaway that runners want to keep let alone wear to during training or just around town.  Under Armour provides that for you and we could not be more thrilled.

THE MEDAL

Each year the Baltimore Running Festival’s Crack the Crab medal has highlighted an iconic city landmark—but for our 25th Anniversary, the spotlight is on YOU!

Cast in brilliant silver—a nod to the traditional 25th anniversary gift—the medal’s shell features a bold cut-out “25,” offering a peek into the excitement within.


COURSE SUPPORT

We will have two aid station on the 10K course, which arer stocked with water and Gatorade. 

Every aid station will have at least one port-a-pot and a SELF HELP Kit with basic runner amenities such as band aids and vasoline. 

MEDICAL SUPPORT
Our wonderful medical partner Medstar Sports Health is there for you, even during your race.  Learn more HERE.

MedStar Sports Health will provide medical support on the course and in the finish line area. The MedStar staff will include certified doctors, registered nurses, physician assistants and EMTs and will provide the necessary medical attention to any patient in need. We are grateful to have MedStar Sports Health associated with the event.  On the course, medical support is located at miles 2.5 and 5 of the 10K course.

ON COURSE SNACKS
Bananas and Herr's Salty Snacks will be available on the marathon course. –Snacks will be located atmMiles 8, 11, 20.5, 23.5

Energy Gels will not be provided. Please plan to bring your own if you think you will need them out on the course.

LOG YOUR MEDICAL HISTORY

Participants are strongly encouraged to securely store and share personal medical history in case of emergency for any race using RaceSafe.

We encourage all runners, especially those who have a previous medical history to log on and complete the form.

10K AWARDS

Overall Winners: Trophies will be awarded to the overall male and female champions as well as to the second and third place finishers.

Awards Ceremony: The awards ceremony will take place at the band stage in the center of the Celebration Village on Saturday at 11am. Only the overall winners from the 10K will be awarded at the ceremony. Age group awards will be mailed.

Age Groups: Prizes go to the top three non-elite male and female age group finishers for the marathon in each of the following divisions: 16 & U, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35- 39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70+

(NOTE: There must be a minimum of 5 competitors in a given age group in order for an award to be issued. The event reserves the right to reduce or eliminate awards in a given age group if there are fewer than 5 participants.)

Age group awards will be mailed within a month after the event after finishing times have been verified.  We  will not ship age group awards internationally
