Lisa’s Army Pumpkins in the Park 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk

Race Day Information 

Basic Info: The Pumpkins in the Park 5K is Rain or Shine on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Rose Tree County Park - 1671 N Providence Rd, Media, PA 19063. Registration opens at 8:00 am.  We will have day of registration at the race, so invite your friends! 

Costumes: Don't forget there will be prizes for best costume, best team costume, and best kid costume!  Dress up and have fun!  Costumes are encouraged but not required!  

Inflatable Race:  Air up your favorite inflatable costume and sign up for the Inflatable Run! This 200 meter sprint will take place at 9:10 am right before the 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk, so you can do both!  This event is restricted to 18 years old and up.

• To participate select the "Inflatable Sprint and 5K Run" option or the "Inflatable Sprint and 1 Mile Walk" option.

Runners: Race begins at 8:30 am, registration opens at 7:00 am!  Be there early to park, pick up your bib, and get to the start line.  You can do both the inflatable race and the 5K Run or walk! 

Walkers: The walk begins as soon as the runners cross the start line.  (Usually around 8:10).  Be sure to get to the race early to park!  You can do both the inflatable race and the 5K Run or walk! 

Shirts: If you registered before September 15th, be sure to go to the registration tent to grab your shirt (or come to our packet pickup event noted above).  This year, you can upgrade from a long sleeve cotton tee shirt to a tech tee for $10.00.  Chose the option at checkout!

Parking: Our new location has ample parking! Look for signs directing you to the race when you enter the park! 

Zombies: Those registered as Zombies will receive their shirts by mail.  Please tag our social media accounts to share in the fun as you complete your 5K!  

Registration Questions

Q. When/Where does the Lisa’s Army Pumpkins in the Park Run and Walk take place?
A. We've moved! The 2024 Race will take place Rose Tree County Park - 1671 N Providence Rd, Media, PA 19063.  Join us at Rose Tree Park on October 5th!  Registration opens at 8:00 am, the Inflatable Sprint begins at 9:10 am, and the 5K starts at 9:30!  

Q. When is the last day to register to be guaranteed a tee shirt? 
A. Be sure to register by September 15th to be guaranteed a tee shirt!  

Q. Can I complete the race virtually?
A. Yes! Register as a Zombie to participate virtually!  Send us a picture of you completing your run or walk (walking/biking/running) and we will share it on social media!  Bonus points if you participate in costume! 

Q: I registered as a individual but am now interested in joining a Team. How do I transfer?
A: Go to your Run Signup profile -> MANAGE YOUR REGISTRATION -> TRANSFER EVENT. You  will go through the signup process again for confirmation. You will be asked if you want to create your group or join an existing one.  (Note - be sure to ask the team leader if they set up a password to join the group. If they did, then you will need that password to join)

Q: I want to fundraise but I forgot to set up my page when I registered.  How do I do that?

A:  Sign In to RunSignup > Go to your Profile (top right corner) > Click My Registered Races > Click Manage next to the registration > 
Click Fundraiser in the Top Menu to begin > The fundraiser tab will redirect you to the "donate" tab of the race page > Scroll down to the section labeled "New Fundraiser Linked to Registration" then you will be able to create/join a fundraising team.  

Q: I want to change my shirt size for my giveaway.  How do I do that?

A: Sign In to RunSignup > Go to your Profile (top right corner) > Click My Registered Races > Click Manage next to the registration > Click "Giveaway Management" > Scroll down and change your size. 

Packet Pickup Questions:

Early Packet Pickup at Lisa's Army Headquarters: Want to skip the wait on race day?  Pick up your bib and tee shirt before the race!  Join us at Lisa's Army Headquarters -  2048A Fairmount Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19130 on Thursday, October 3rd from 11:00 am - 7:00 pm.  Team captains can pickup for their team on Thursday, be sure to let your team members know ahead of time!  On race day, packets must be picked up by individual registrants.  

Can't make it to packet pick up? Don't worry! You can also pick up on the day of the race at the Registration Tent beginning at 8:00 am! Be sure to come early so that you have time to park and get to the start line!  Shirts must be picked up by the individual on race day, no team pickup.
