Q. What time does the Salute to Service 5K start?
A. The Run/Walk will start at 8:30 AM EDT on May 25, 2025

Q. Where does it take place?
A.  The Market @ 200 William Street Key West, FL 33040

Q. Where can I get my results?
A. Results will be available via the website after the race.

Q. Where can I park?
A. Street parking limited and walking, biking or using a ride share service is encouraged.

Q. When will I get my race day logistics email?
A. You will receive emails 1 week and the day before.

Q. Where do I pick up my packet?
A. When: Day before the race Saturday 5/24/25 @ The Marker Poolside 4:00 - 6:00 PM 

A:  When:  Race Day Sunday 5/25/25 @ The Marker, from 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM

Q. Where are the water stations?
A. One water station will be located approximately half way through the 5K course as well at the Finish Line.

Q. What are the award divisions?
A. Top Overall Male & Female Finishers, Overall Military Finisher and Overall Masters(40+) will receive an award as well as the Top 3 overall in each age group awards as listed below.

  • 10 & Under
  • 11-14
  • 15-19
  • 20-29
  • 30-39
  • 40-49
  • 50-59
  • 60-69
  • 70+

Q. Is there an age limit?
A. No!  Bring the whole family!  Children ages 0-4 and children in strollers do not need to register.

Q. Are dogs and/or strollers permitted?
A. Dogs are not allowed on the course for safety reasons. Strollers are permitted, but must start in the last corral for safety reasons.

Q. May walkers participate?
A. Yes. There is a 20 minute/mile minimum pace on the course.

Q. Can I Pick Up A Packet for A Friend?
A.  Yes!  You can pickup a packet for a friend - just be sure to let your friend know that you are doing it prior to packet pickup!

Q. I have a friend who cannot participate in the event. Can I take his/her place?
A. Each participant must have his/her own registration. In the event of an emergency, race officials must have emergency contact information on hand, therefore, you are NOT allowed to participate using someone else’s registration. There are NO exceptions to this policy.

Q. Can I get a refund or transfer?
A. There are no refunds or transfers for Salute to Service 5K.  There are no transfers between individual races as well.
