Description
Janelle Read is a 16 year old, sophomore at Lone Peak High School. She was in a horrible car accident Monday January 9, 2012. She had severe injuries such as skull fractures, crushed/fractured pelvis, internal bleeding, blood clots in the brain and so much more. While things were scary and uncertain for a bit, Janelle is a fighter and so far, things seem hopeful! Janelle is now in the process of recovering, and we are amazed at how well she is doing!
We are putting on a 5K Fun Run to help Janelle's family cover the outrageous amount of medical expenses they already have as well as future expenses. We have a goal to earn $5,000.00 to help Janelle's family.
The Fun Run for Janelle will be LOTS OF FUN! We won't be timing the race, so even if you aren't a runner come and join us! We just want everyone to come. Bring your whole family. We will have a carnival after the race with food, blow up toys, raffles, games and fun!
We are still looking for sponsors. If you or anyone you know is interested please email jogforjanelle@gmail.com for more information.
Thanks everyone! We know this will be a lot of fun, and will help the Read family a lot!
**In case of inclement weather the 5K and carnival will be cancelled. All proceeds will go directly to the Janelle Read Trust Fund**
