Hi! My name is Max Watson. I am working on my eagle project. I would like to place benches at the Orem City Cemetery. To help raise money for the benches, I am hosting a 5k on August 22, 2015. My reason for doing this project is because my dad passed away last year and I noticed there are no benches for people to sit on. I’d like to fix that with my project.
I’d like to tell you about my dad. He enjoyed a healthy lifestyle and being super fit. Any chance he had, he would find a way to participate in a 5k. Before he passed away, he and my mom set a goal for our family that we would run a 5k every month for a year. We would like to celebrate my dad and our year of running by hosting this 5k and using the donations to place benches at the cemetery.
