The Zion Half Marathon

This course is going to be one of the most beautiful routes you will ever run. The race starts on the edge of the small town of Virgin, UT. Runners will follow the Virgin river along highway 9 all the way through the small towns of Rockville and Springdale. For the last 3 miles the scenery is extraordinarily beautiful as the towering red rock cliffs start to surround you. The race finishes at the Zion Giant Screen Theater parking lot at the entrance to Zion.

There is a gradual uphill to the entire course. It is gradual. About 35 feet gain for every mile. This is one of the most beautiful courses you will ever experience.
