Description
Once considered a myth, a rumor, the Stupid Pony does indeed exist and it's coming for your ass. Basically following the Pony Express National Historic Trail from Eagle Mountain, UT to Wendover, UT, you'll get even less accomplished than the real Pony Express. Screw the mail, you'll be lucky to get your own meat across the West Desert as you freeze, thaw, and grind over five mountain passes and 200 miles of 90% terrible gravel road.
Two lucky winners will each earn one of Bobby's Used Undershirts of Glory, permanent testaments to their incredible prowess as cyclists and their dedication to doing stupid stuff faster than other people. Everyone else will still get t-shirts, but normal ones.
There are three aid stations scattered throughout the desert and that's it - you're all you've got. You, your bike, hundreds of miles of the most beautiful backcountry in the United States, and the inescapable dome of the uncaring heavens.
