Description

No matter where you live, join others around the country and world in fighting for freedom!

Freedom 4/24 events are one of the primary ways we raise funds and awareness. They simultaneously mobilize people to act and help bring freedom and justice victims and survivors of human trafficking. From road and bike races across the country to our annual Freedom Gala to our Christmas Coffeehouse, all of our events allow you to plug directly into this fight to make a lasting impact on lives around the world. Participants in the Run 4 Their Lives Virtual Challenge get to bring freedom to victims and survivors across the country and around the globe

The Run 4 Their Lives Series is a Freedom 4/24’s flagship initiative that promotes awareness and gets people involved in the fight against injustice. We organize races throughout the year in Knoxville (TN), Lynchburg (VA), Charlotte (NC), and Glendora (CA) to spread our message and get people involved in the fight for freedom.

Read the stories of Nan and Fa - survivors finding healing and hope at New Beginnings:

Nan's Story:  I am 25, from Samut Sakhorn, I have one younger brother, and I have been at the Home of New Beginnings for 5 years. Life was hard for us after my father left. I needed to work to help the family. A friend introduced me to Beginnings while I was working on SOI 7 (a red light district street). My friends said they have opportunities to receive an education and no longer have to work in the bars. It turned out to be a dream come true. I love to cook and bake. Right now, I am a culinary student in Bangkok. Beginnings is giving me the chance at the new safe home in Pattaya to teach other women who were once like me how to cook and bake so they can have a trade and leave the bars. The people at beginnings are my family, and I want to give back in every way that I can.

Fa's Story: I am from 24, from Samut Sakhorn just outside Bangkok, and I have been at the Home of New Beginnings for 6 years. I was able to finish high school by working summers in the bars with my sister. I wanted to go to University so I continued to work with my sister until she told me about Home of New Beginnings and urged me to go. My sister sacrificed herself for me by continuing to work in the bars to provide for our family. Beginnings has afforded me many opportunities. I was able to earn a business degree and am now pursuing an MBA and working as a Currency Exchange Teller. My biggest dream is to build a house for my parents, and give back to Beginnings.
