Appomattox Firetruck 5k and 1 Mile Walk

Show your support for the Appomattox Volunteer Fire Department by participating in the Appomattox Firetruck 5k & 1 Mile Walk!  This will be a great community and family event. The proceeds from this race will help the AVFD purchase a new fire engine, replacing Fire Engine #1, after 30 years of service.

1 MILE WALK
$20 (through August 27) || $25 (August 28 - Race Day)

Registration fees are non-transferable & non-refundable. An entry can only be used for the person registered for the entry. Entries cannot be deferred to the following year or a future event.

If the "in-person" events are unable to happen due to COVID mandates or restrictions, participants will automatically be transferred to our Virtual options.

Course: 
The event begins at Bible Baptist Church in Appomattox.  The course is out-and-back that follows Bible Baptist Rd., Tower Hill Rd, and Eldon Rd.

PETS ARE PROHIBITED.

FINISHER MEDALS TO ALL FINISHERS.

5K AWARDS:  
Top 3 Overall M/F; Top 3 M/F in each age group
*Please note:  There are no awards given for the 1 MILE WALK

12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

RACE T-SHIRTS:
T-shirts guaranteed to those registered by August 9, 2021. A limited amount of extra shirts are ordered after this deadline and available on a first-come basis at packet pickup.
