DCRR Virtual Relay Challenge May 2021

Sun May 2 - Fri May 28

Description

Virtual team race for DCRR teams to journey through the John Muir Trail! Cumulative mileage from teams will be counted. Finishing order doesn't matter. Just log your intentional moving miles and watch your dance progress accumulate towards the completion of the goal!

The John Muir Trail is a 215 mile trail that overlaps with the Pacific Crest Trail. "Leaving from Yosemite, the trail winds through the Ansel Adams Wilderness, Sequoia National Park and King’s Canyon National Park before culminating at 14,494-foot Mount Whitney. California’s Sierra Nevada range is known for its mild, sunny climate and some of the most stunning scenery in the nation, but leave between July and September to avoid having to lug an ice axe along."
