Description
This 5K fundraising running event is sponsored by the Trachtenberg Student Organization (TSO) at the George Washington University. Half of the proceeds from this event will go to benefit Warrior Canine Connection (WCC), an organization that utilizes a clinically based Mission Based Trauma Recovery model to help wounded Warriors reconnect with life, their families, their communities, and each other.
The race will start at Columbia Island Marina and will run along the Mt. Vernon Trail, which is the best place to enjoy the sunrise and river views! The route has also been USATF certified, you can view it by clicking here. Cute dogs from WCC will be on-site to greet you when you finish!
