RACE DAY REGISTRATION AVAILABLE STARTING AT 11:30AM
12:00PM JackFest Begins!
1:00PM Kids' Superhero Dash ($15): Kids will compete in a 100-200 meter footrace (distance depends on age) on the gently rolling grass fields of Foxfield. Each age will have its own separate race with the younger ages (2-5) running 100 meters, and the older ages (6 and up) running 200 meters. The race sections will look like the following...
100 Meters: 2 & Under, 3 Years Old, 4 Years Old, 5 Years Old
200 Meters: 6 Years Old, 7 Years Old, 8 Years Old, 9 Years Old, 10 Years Old, 11 Years Old, 12 Years Old
Each participant will receive a limited edition, royal blue JackFest superhero cape that they are strongly encouraged to race in!
Note that we are sold out of capes as we've already had 200+ kids sign up. We're so sorry, but anyone who registers on 3/26 or on 3/27 will not receive a cape for the actual event, BUT we will place a second order after the event so that everyone who registers gets their cape in a couple weeks.
~1:30PM Kids' Hero Hustle Half Mile Run ($5): This event is open to kids of all ages, and will be comprised of one full loop around the rolling grass hills of Foxfield's Lower Bowl. Depending on the number of registrants, we may have to separate this into multiple sections, and will make that decision (and communicate it to everyone) the week of the race. Registration will include a race number, and all finishers will receive lots of cheering during their race, a high five at the finish line, and a ribbon to take home for their accomplishment.
Kids entered in this can still certainly also compete in the Superhero Dash and the Child-Parent 2x200 Relay
~1:45PM Child-Parent 2x200 Meter Relay Race (FREE): Any child who has registered for the Superhero Dash OR the Kids' Half Mile Run (please sign up for those events first!) has the additional opportunity to compete in this Child-Parent Relay. We will divide this race up into sections based on the age of the child, and will have multiple sections depending on registration numbers. In each race, the child will always run the first leg, and the parent will run the second.
*note that this race is also open to legal guardians, caregivers, etc.
1:00-3:00PM Superhero Team Obstacle Course Challenge ($30 PER TEAM): Gather your family or friends and form a team (up to 5 people) for this unique superhero-themed event that combines your abilities to work together as a team, solve puzzles, and conquer (kid appropriate) physical challenges. Complete all the tasks to win a prize for each team member. The event will be timed, and the top 5 fastest teams who complete all the tasks will win a prize from some of our fantastic sponsors. Each member will receive a 2022 JackFest water bottle.
3:00PM Lego Challenge ($15): This a new event this year, and we're so excited to roll it out! The theme of the inaugural JackFest Lego Build competition is "Superheroes". Each participant will receive a bag of mixed Legos they will use to build anything with a superhero theme--a superhero lair, car, boat or plane...the only limit is your imagination! Each participant will then submit (digitally) their Lego build prior to JackFest, and then the top 5 in each age group will be selected by our panel of judges. The winning participants (5 in each age group, so 15 in total) will be asked to bring their build to the day of JackFest, and we will announce the winners at 3:00pm.
Parents or guardians can sign up their children in one of three age groups: 6 & under, 7-10, 11-14. Competition rules, Lego pick up options, and build submittal instructions will be emailed to each participant after registration. Registration is limited (only a few spots left), so make sure to sign up early!
Virtual Superhero ($30): Can't join us on the day of? Sign up as a virtual superhero to receive a JackFest water bottle ($5 value), a JackFest sticker, as well as 2 raffle entries ($10 value).
