Description
Among men, prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer and the second leading cause of cancer death in the United States. One in seven men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during their lifetime.
The Hampton Roads Prostate Health Forum has partnered with the Hampton University Proton Therapy Institute and Sentara Healthcare to host a 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk.
Come join in the fun and help us raise awareness and funds for a cure to prostate cancer! Be sure to stick around a take a tour of the Hampton University Proton Therapy Institute.
As a participant you can run or walk and you can recruit family, friends, neighbors and employees to join us. The Run / Walk will be held October 24, 2015. Registration is from 7:00 am until 8:15 am, with the event starting at 8:30 am.
