5k's aren't just for humans....dogs love them too! Bring your furry best friend and join us on November 10, 2019 at James Long Regional Park in Haymarket, VA for our pawsitively awesome (furst ever) 5k! If you're not up for a 5k, we have something for you too.....a 1-Mile Mutt Strut! Don't have a furry friend? Humans are welcome to run and make a few new friends. All dogs will receive a custom bandana and all humans will receive a t-shirt, custom bib, and swag bag! You bring your energy and we'll bring the fun!
Every great event must have an even greater cause! We are honored to be able to support two wonderful organizations who are committed to making a difference in the lives of humans and animals! ALL proceeds from this furbulous event will go to The Sweet Julia Grace Foundation which provides assistance and support to families who have children who are enduring a medical crisis or have special needs and K-9 Caring Angels trains and donates service dogs to victims of domestic violence, as well as veterans with PTSD and other injuries. They also use trained therapy dogs to comfort patients at hospice, assisted living and wherever else called to help
You're purrobably wondering about our feline friends, aren't you? Well, we've never met a cathlete so running is out of the question. But we are equal oppurrtunity, so if you'd like to bring a small donation of cat supplies (ie litter, food) to support the organization, Must Love Cats, you'll receive a special gift just fur being so cool!
Paws & Pals 5k begins at 9:00AM and 1-Mile Mutt Strut begins at 9:30

This world is a better place because of organizations and people committed to helping others. There are a few causes that are near and dear to our hearts - children and animals. It is our honor to support two of those organizations by hosting this race and donating the proceeds. After all these organizations rely on public support and if they're making the effort the do good, then we should all make an effort to support them. Let's all take a paws from our daily activities and come together to help those who help others every single day! Woot-woot!
