Virginia Homeschool Cross-Country Championship

Join your homeschooled peers on November 2, 2018, for the inaugural Virginia Home School Cross-Country Championship at Bolen Memorial Park in Leesburg.

Entry fees/ Divisions
Program Entry - $250 (includes all four divisions)
High School Men - $75 per team (up to 7 entries)
High School Ladies - $75 per team (up to 7 entries)
Middle School Boys - $75 per team (up to 7 entries)
Middle School Girls - $75 per team (up to 7 entries)
Individual runners $15 (must self-register through RunSignUp)

Eligibility
High School - Homeschooled students aged 14-18 years as of August 1, 2018. Genders will be run simultaneously but scored separately.
Middle School - Homeschooled students aged 11-13 years as of August 1, 2018. Genders will be run simultaneously but scored separately.

Scoring
The first five finishers score, runners six and seven displace. Individual runners that are not part of a full team will also have no impact on other team's scores but may compete for top individual prizes.

Course
The course is USATF certified. Runners will travel throughout the park, around sports fields, over bridges and through wooded park trails. The course is 90% on grass and 10% on paved paths and over wood bridges.
High school distance is 3.1 miles. Middle school distance is 2.0 miles.

Schedule 
7:30 Check-in table opens. Coaches pick up bibs with timing chips in them.
8:30 Guided Walk-Through 
10:00 Middle School Start
11:00 High School Start
12:00 Awards Ceremony (Top three runners in each division receive medals, team scores will be announced.)

Parking
Free parking in a paved lot adjacent to the course. Follow signs and look for attendants.
