Based on Infantry Military training, Ruck2Change is a ruck/run race to test your physical strength, stamina, and mental toughness. Reach deep within to complete the course and finish knowing you are stronger than yesterday and ready for any challenge. Be a part of something greater than yourself, be a part of change.
Through this mental and physical challenge remember that you are supporting the youth of your area and their fitness education through Strength2Change, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your race equals their opportunity for change.
10 Mile - A race for our begginer Ruck enthusiast or casual runner. A course with little elevation change that will still find a way to test your will while entertaining you with the sights sand sounds of the trail. Find a pace, maintain it, work hard, and support a great cause. Race can be executed in Ruck or Run Divisions.
20 Mile - Our long distance race for the experienced rucker or hiker and runner which will require physical strength and mental toughness. A test for the weekend warrior, fitness enthusiasts and those who never step down from a challenge. Dig deep and finish strong all while supporting the cause. Race can be performed in Ruck or Run Divisions.
Race Divisions: Racers in both divisions can run, walk, hike...just get the work done!
Ruck: Women must carry 20 lbs and men 30 lbs throughout the race. Wear your favorite hiking pack and pack the essentials but you must meet weight requirments to quilify in this division. All packs will be weighed at the conclusion of the race.
Run: Participants will not be required to carry any weight, athletes should plan to carry water and nutrition source in addition to using aid stations.
Each athlete who choses to and reaches certain goals and participates will receive a FREE water bottle, $250, on the day of the event. In addition individuals who fundraise $500 or more receive a Camelbak Hydration system and those who raise $750 or more receive a Ruck Pack for their hard work and dedication to supporting Strength2Change.
