COACH RYAN PURRINGTON
Purrington’s first year heading up both the cross country and track & field programs saw immediate success. The 2019-2020 season saw both men’s and women’s cross country programs record their best finishes at the ODAC Championships, where the team earned its first individual All-Conference honors and send two full teams to the NCAA South/Southeast Regional Championship for the first time in school history and saw new school records for the women’s team every race of the season. During the Indoor season, the WildCats continued to set records, besting 9 previous school records for a total of 11 records during both seasons.
While Purrington has coached at Randolph, the WildCats have seen an astonishing 39 new school records, two individual ODAC Conference Champions, one ODAC Conference Championship record, and two NCAA Division-III National Championship appearances.
