Description

Looking for a challenging trail run that benefits those that serve your communities? You’ve found it! The RUN BIG LAND 10.7K Friends and Family Trail Run is an untimed, 10.7K (see what we did there?!) run in rural Montross, Virginia, benefiting the 501c3 nonprofit 10-7 at Big Land!  It starts at the old "Self Homestead's" back farm field, meandering through farmland and forest, and ends right back where you started!  The vast majority of the course is along forested cut trails, forested roads and some real challenging up and down hill that is wide enough for one to two people.

We will have cool awards for the top male and female finisher, but this race is for those who either want a laid back event OR those who want a great challenge to get that awesome first finisher award! This is 10-7 at Big Land's FIRST TRAIL RUN and is a practice run for our sponsored trail run coming this OCTOBER!  Finish our race and you'll earn swag, enjoy a hotdog and refreshments and an awesome 10.7K sticker showing your support of 10-7 at Big Land!

This demo race is donation based only! 100% of the proceeds go towards projects at 10-7 at Big Land (www.ten7bigland.com) benefiting the making of memories and moments for veterans, law enforcement, firefighters, 1st responders and those that have served our nation's communities.
