Virginia Running Festival

The Virginia Running Festival from Flat-Out Events is BACK! The Massive Medal Half Marathon follows the same great 13.1 mile course through historical neighborhoods of Newport News, on Mariners' Museum property, and back through the beautiful campus of Christopher Newport University! The Festival also features the Alumni 5K on the campus of CNU--and the Little Captains 400M Dash for kids of all ages! Feeling good? If so, challenge yourself with the Captain's Challenge by running the half marathon in 2:30 or less and then getting into the corrals to run the Alumni 5K. All challenge finishers will receive the medals for both races, as well as a special Captain's Challenge medal! The Virginia Running Festival benefits the Christopher Newport University Alumni Society. By running in these races, you will help support CNU student scholarships, alumni programs, and the alumni house.
