Description
Celebrate Pamplin with the inaugural Ralph M. Hamlett Memorial 5K Fun Run and Walk on the western end of High Bridge Trail at Heights School Road. Start time is 9 AM.
This is a fast out-and- back, flat packed gravel course. Runners of all abilities and walkers are welcome. Keepsake finisher medals and t-shirts will be awarded to all participants. Trophies will be given to the top 3 overall male and female finishers.
Registration online at RaceIt.com or paper registration on the Appomattox County website. Startline registration will be accepted the day of the race. Packet pick-up at the Depot on Friday 9/18 from 12-7 and on race day at the startline 7:30-8:30.
Timing and scoring is by The Aid Station in Lynchburg. The street festival starts at noon on Main Street in Pamplin. All proceeds of the event will benefit the Pamplin Depot Restoration Fund.
