Okay y'all....it looks like we're going to have another month where we have to motivate ourselves to keep moving to stay healthy and sane, so TCRR is here to help!
This month we'll have 5 challenges for each week....a HIIT workout (including core work and sprints), a 5k (silly or serious), a 7.7 mile race, a half-marathon, and a duathlon (5k run, 20 mile bike, 5k run). You can choose to participate in any one event, or all 5! They're virtual, of course, so you can do them at any time and then upload your results to the website. It'd be great if you could upload all results by the last day of the challenge, to make it a bit easier for me to keep track of everything.
This is the final week! Remember there are 3 levels of awards: bronze level for people who do at least 1 of the events every week, silver level for people who do at least 2, and then gold level for people who do 3+ every week! And as an added bonus, you know that I'll be stalking the results after week 1 to see who keeps it up for the following weeks....yes, that is a bonus....
You can also join our Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/tricitiesroadrunners/ if you want to get and give motivation to other TCRR participants! These events are free for TCRR members, and $5 each for non-TCRR members.
