Welcome to the 2nd Annual Wedding Day 3k (and now added challenge)! All race options are free but open for donation to the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation!

Last year, at the Inaugural race on 10/5/2019, Wedding Day 3k came about on Brian and Stephanie's wedding day. Because they are both avid runners, they wanted a quick run/walk to do with their guests the morning before their special day.

This event will only be virtual and will be open for completion between 10/1/2020 - 10/31/2020. This way, you can complete the race/run/walk/cycle whenever and wherever you would like! All races and challenges will be free, however, if you are able to donate any amount - funds will go to the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation.

We have a few event options for you to choose from this year:

Virtual 3k Race ONLY - Complete a 3k race/run/walk during the time period listed on your own course. 3k is equal to 1.86 miles. You may use any tracking device for your time and mileage you would like and then you will be prompted via email to manually upload your time to be listed in the results page.
Virtual 49 mile Run Challenge ONLY - Complete 49 miles of running or walking virtually from the Hilton Richmond Downtown (original wedding venue) to the Trailhead of the Virginia Capital Trail in Jamestown during the time period listed and track your progress. You can track your progress on our website by uploading your mileage manually and finding yourself on the map.
Virtual 98 mile Cycle Challenge ONLY - Complete 98 miles of cycling virtually from the Hilton Richmond Downtown (original wedding venue) to the Trailhead of the Virginia Capital Trail in Jamestown AND BACK to the Hilton within the time period listed. You can track your progress on our website by uploading your mileage manually and finding yourself on the map.
Any combination of the three - You may also complete any combination. For example, if you would like to do the cycle challenge, but also race the 3k, you can! If you want to do all three, you can!

Progress tracking information will be sent via email prior to the race start date.
