DECA Freaky 5K

This is a new, exciting race held on October 31st, in which the participents have the choice of either running the 5K or doing the 1 mile walk. The participants aslo have the choice of dressing up in their Halloween costumes during the race, and competing in the costume contest that will be held after the race is finished. Awards will be given to the top 3 finishers in each age group, and overall. Long sleeve shirts are given to adults, and short sleeve shirts are available for kids racing. The race takes place across from the soccer fields at the lower 40, by Hidden Valley High School. Half of the proceeds go to Donate Life, a charity to help people with liver transplants, and the other half go to funding DECA, a business club at Hidden Valley.
