Sherando Park Endurance Athletic Runners

We have grown!!  This year there will be three separate races on three different days.  You get the chance to pick between a 10k, 25k, or the 8 Hour race, OR DO ALL THREE AND BE A BADDASS!  All three races will take place on the Sherando Park bike trails.  This year the 10k, July 13th 2024, and the 25k, August 10th 2024, will benefit our local Special Olympics chapter.  The Area 13 Special Olympics chapter are always in need of extra funds and we are going to be there for them!  The 8 Hour race will take place September 21 2024 and will again benefit the Katie Teets Bradshaw Comfort House Inc. We want to hit our max for registrations so we can max out he donation!!  If you know of anyone that would love to volunteer we will have lots of need for them.  All three races will feature water stations along the way.  Big change to this year will be the start/finish line.  For those familiar with the park and our area we will be at the Warrior Drive entrance this year.  This will offer more shade, closer parking, and keep you off the long dusty road.  We look forward to seeing everyone!  

This year the race will start and end at the new Sherando Park Bike Park / Outdoor Fitness Gym parking lot.  On Google Maps you can punch it in as 525 Line Drive, Stephens City, VA, and it will get you there.  It is a large parking area and has bathroom facilities.  Check-in for the race will begin at 0700 and the race will start at 0800.  There will be water and snacks at the finish and one water stop mid-way through the course.
