The Miles on Main Series, sponsored by Tazewell Today, is proud to present the second annual “Route to Salute: Trooper Andrew D. Fox (Badge #727) Memorial Race.” A native of Tazewell, Trooper Fox valued his family, agriculture, and service to his community. Join us as we humbly remember his sacrifice in the line of duty and commemorate his legacy on this Patriot Day. Wear blue or red, white, and blue in his honor as you participate in the 5K race. We will provide you a blue light to carry, if you so choose, to remember Trooper Fox. A portion of the proceeds from this event will go towards a agricultural scholarship in memory of Andrew.
The course will run east of Main Street, with a great deal of the race taking place on sidewalk. We will also have a sub-mile walk/run. Adults are also invited to register for the sub-mile walk/run.
