We'll reassess the level of interest and possibly schedule meets in May:

That's WWGTM for short.  
We'll offer 3 races at each meet, alternating English and Metric distances by meet.
800m - 1500m - 3000m or 
1/2 Mile - Mile - 2 Mile
And... if there is interest, we'll do a 5K on the track at some point.  How often do you get a chance to do that?
We could have fun with some relay races, too.  It all depends on participation and interest.
The Full Story
The Fauquier High School track is open to the public when the track and enclosed field are not in use.  Home track meets,  soccer games, and  LaCross games will keep us off the track.   The FHS athletic calendar is pretty full, so we're going to have to do this on different nights to squeeze it in.  We'll even have to miss a couple weeks.  Once school ends, we'll pick a day and stick to it.
We'll do this well into the summer if there is interest, but for now Im just listing races for March and April.

Start Time:
Racing will start at 6:15 in March, and 6:30 thereafter, so be sure to show up early enough to get in a warm up.  
Free, but...
No charge for racing.  However, Im going to ask for volunteers to do the timing and give us our splits, so it would be nice for the runners to give the timer a buck or two in appreciation.  That might bring out someone's kid, niece or nephew to help us out.
