Frederick County Parks and Recreation Youth Running Club

Get ready to hit the ground running this spring with the FCPRD Youth Running Club! We're excited to welcome young runners aged 7-14, regardless of skill level. Registration includes an entry to the Apple Blossom Kids’ Bloomin’ Mile (May 3), the Loudoun Street Mile (May 27) and a $10 discount on the Sherando Youth Triathlon (August 4). Our club emphasizes the importance of proper running techniques, stretching, and other useful tips to make running enjoyable. Don't forget to bring your running shoes, water, and a snack to keep you fueled and hydrated throughout your practices.

Meeting Location: 
 - Redbud participants will meet in the parking lot of Redbud Elementary

We will also participate in a City of Winchester Parks & Recreation/Frederick County Parks & Recreation Track Meet at Shenandoah University on Tuesday, May 14.
