About This Activity

Want to run a race that is challenging and scenic? Come out to Belmont Bay.  Our races wind through community roads, sidewalks, and along the scenic view of the Occoquan River. The Belmont Stake themed race has a bugler playing the “Call to Post” at the beginning of the professionally timed race, some participants wear stylish bonnets while are cheered on by their horse name. Proceeds support the Belmont Elementary and Shenandoah Drum and Bugle Corps.

 

Awards:

·        $75 Visa gift card to the overall male and female 5K winners.

·         Ribbons for age-division winners in the 5K for those 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & above.

·         Ribbons for Best Horse Name and Best Bonnet.

·         Fun Walk/1K participants will receive ribbons.

 

Awards will not be mailed.

 

Start and Finish: Entrance to the Belmont Bay Harbor’s parking lot; GPS: 570 Harbor Side St., Woodbridge, VA 22191. Free public parking available across the parking lot and on the street.

 

Times:

·         7:30 am - 5K (elevation change – no strollers and pets)

·         8:00 am - Fun Walk/1K (flat course & pet- and stroller-friendly)

 

Race warm-up conducted by C.O.R.E.: Personal Training & Pilates Studio prior to each event.

Early Registration: Register online by May 19 to receive a T-shirt with your entry fee:

5K: $25 – Adults; 5K: $20 – Children under 12; 5K: $40 – Family: 2 persons

 

Fun Walk: $20 – Adults; Fun Walk: $15 – Children under 12; Fun Walk: $60 – Family of 4 or more; Fun Walk: $30 – Adult and pet T-shirt combo - order one T-shirt for yourself and a second T-shirt for your pet; Fun Walk: $30 – Adult T-shirt and dog bandana combo.

 

T-Shirts sizes from 2XL to 5XL are charged an additional $5.

 

Late Registration: Register online from May 20 – June 2: Entry fee remains the same but registrants will NOT receive a T-shirt and dog bandana.

 

Race-day registration and packet pick up from 6:45 to 7:45 am:

Entry fee will not offer family prices on race day registration.

5K: $30 – adults; $25 – children under 12

Fun Walk: $25 – adults; $20 – children under 12

 

EARLY PACKET PICK UP – REGISTERED ON AND BEFORE MAY 19TH at the Electric Palm Restaurant, 12745 Sea Ray lane, Woodbridge, VA; website: www.theelectricpalm.net. Dates and times for pick up: May 30, May 31, and June 1 from 4 pm – 9 pm; and registration will be available at the Restaurant.

Meal discount: 10% off your purchase at The Electric Palm Restaurant www.theelectricpalm.net on the date you pick up your packet(s). The discount may not be used toward the purchase of alcoholic beverages. Tax and gratuity excluded.  Only one discount per visit/table.

Race Day Events

·         Live entertainment by Shenandoah Drum and Bugle Corps.

·         Raffle by C.O.R.E.: Personal Training & Pilates Studio. Must be present to win the raffle.

·         Refreshments are available while supplies last.

·         Meal discount: 10% discount on your meal at The Electric Palm Restaurant on the day of the race. Same limitations apply. Bring your race bib to receive the discount.
