Bike Patrol

Details

We are in need 3-6 cyclists willing to ride on the Loop to be our eyes and ears for runners who may need assistance. You will be riding back and forth, looking for the Ride Sweep to let you know the last runners has cleared your Patrol station.

Bike Patrol 1 - Covers from the Exchange 1 to Exchange 3 (13 miles)

Bike Patrol 2 - Covers from Exchange 3 to Exchange 5 ( 15.6 miles)

Bike Patrol 3 - Covers from Exchange 5 to Exchange 7 (10.2 miles)

Location

All along the run course on the Loop.

Bike Leader

You must be 18-99 years old to volunteer for this task.

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

We need 1-2 cyclists willing to lead the runners all the way around the RAT Relay Loop course. You should be familiar with The Loop and how it flows, as well as be able to follow The RAT Relay map.

We need at least one cyclist at the Start leading the runners out. This cyclist can either lead the entire course or can hand off to a second cyclist at Exchange 4 (at mile 27).

Entire Loop is 53.4 Miles. Can be broken into 2 Leaders.

Bike Sweeper

You must be 18-99 years old to volunteer for this task.

Details

We need 1 to 2 cyclists willing to Sweep The RAT Relay. This entails following behind the last relay runner on the course and letting the Exchange volunteers know when the last runner has cleared their Exchange and it's okay to clean up and head back to the Start/Finish line. You should be familiar with The Loop and how it flows, as well as be able to follow The RAT Relay map.

We need at least one cyclist at the Start following the runners. This cyclist can either follow for the entire course or can hand off to a second cyclist at Exchange 4 (at mile 27) to follow to the Finish line.
