This volunteer task is full.

Details

We need volunteers to direct runners to the single track and back to the finish line as they return. Volunteers report to Diane Hanes at registration for instructions and to pick up safety vest.

Location

Start/Finish to single track trail which is about 1/4 mi from the start.

Course Sweeps

Details

Course Sweeps can be on foot or mountain bike to ensure all runners are on course and follow the last ones in. Course sweeps need a cell phone, exchange numbers with RD Diane Hanes, and report to Diane Hanes any emergencies or concerns.
We need 1-2 course sweeps for the 5k runners and 1-2 for the 10k runners.

From start to finish: 5k or 10k.

5k/10k Hydration Station

Details

Volunteer(s) reports to Diane Hanes at registration area to pick up table, drink and cups.
On course, providing hydration to both 5k and 10k runners.

Location

At 5k turnaround; Diane will provide hydration station location map.

Finish Line Help

Details

As runners cross the finish line, one volunteer needed to call out/confirm bib numbers (must have a strong, clear voice) and one volunteer to scribe/write down bib numbers as they are called out.
