Course Build - Friday

Course Build volunteers assist with unloading equipment, laying out and/or organizing equipment on field, assisting with light obstacle assembly, course delineation, and/or signage.

PLEASE NOTE: This shift meets on Friday, Dec. 16th from 8am - 1pm. Volunteers receive a free Volunteer T-Shirt, lunch, and a voucher for a free race.

Bib Packet Pick-Up (Date/Time TBA)

Check-In Tent volunteers help check in Athletes, distribute race packets, register new Athletes onsite, sell merchandise, and/or run Bag Check.

Obstacle Supervisor - EPIC Course

Details

EPIC Course Obstacle Supervisors oversee and maintain course challenge stations; ensure Athletes are performing the correct number of reps, practicing good form, and following the rules; cheer Athletes on; guide Athletes to the next challenge station.

Obstacle Supervisor - ELITE Course

Details

ELITE Course Obstacle Supervisors maintain the ELITE Course by resetting or organizing equipment once an Athlete has finished using it; steer the tractor/truck for the Tractor Pull challenge; or other miscellaneous tasks.

Obstacle Supervisor - KIDS Course

KIDS Course Obstacle Supervisors manage/secure KIDS Course entrance; run kids through the course by age group; maintain/supervise obstacle stations; distribute finisher medals.

Start Line Assistant

Start Line Assistants help record bib #s of each wave to give to the timing company; distribute flags, reset dropped flags; cheer on Athletes.

Finish Line Assistant

Details

Finish Line Assistants distribute finisher medals, water, T-shirts, etc; give EPIC high-fives and congratulate Athletes; support the timing company by tearing off bib strip and/or pushing timing button.

Photographer

January 21, 2017

Details

Volunteer photographers take photos of Athletes on the course and/or run the EPIC Photobooth. (For volunteers taking course photos, please bring your own photography equipment).

Parking

January 21, 2017

Details

Parking volunteers guide attendees to the appropriate parking areas or indicate if a parking lot is full. No payment is collected.

General Volunteer
