Alert vehicles to the race in progress, ensure the safety of the runners, and guide them as they make the turn. This is where runners turn left and cross over to the other side of County Road 141. A sheriff deputy will be there to assist.

Volunteers will receive a race shirt, food and beer at the finish line after the race, and an invitation to the volunteer party at Ska Brewing the week after the race.

Course marshal - Turner & Sawyer Intersection High Priority

Alert vehicles to the race in progress and ensure the safety of the runners. Ensure that runners make a left turn from the Turner Drive onto Sawyer Drive to stay on course.

(AKA, the pee sheriff). We'll give you an orange vest to make you look scary, and you walk around the church parking lot looking for people who are going to pee in the bushes instead of waiting in line for the toilets. Yes, this is a real job. The good folks at the church really don't want the runners peeing all over the place, and you and me are going to help them out.
