Aid Station Volunteer: Aid #1

Details

Provide participants with water, hydration drink, nutrition as they pass through the designated aid station. You are responsible for your table and pop up tent. The run.Windsor Crew will provide you with water/hydration jugs, nutrition, trash can, and various aid station supplies. This is a great opportunity for all ages, but does require at least 1 adult.

Pickup your Aid Station Supplies from Packet Pickup from 3pm - 6 pm on Friday 6/19 at THE GRAINHOUSE or from race start/finish on race day morning. Please return all supplies, including any trash cans/bags provided to the race start/finish after you've cleaned up.

Runners will pass between 7:30 am and 10:30 am

Location

The Aid Station is located along the Poudre River Trail and the fire road. Accessible via the dirt fire road that goes past the Windsor-Severance Fire Station 4 at 1350 New Liberty Rd.

Race Lead Out

The race lead out will be on bike and lead out 10K runners and 5K runners along athlete course. Knowledge of course is required. Maintain a lead of ~50 feet from lead athlete to allow all athletes to follow appropriate course.

Race Sweep

Details

Race Sweep will be on bike. This role requires a great deal of patience, communication, and course knowledge. The Race Sweep will sweep will follow our final 10K athlete for the first 1/2 of the 10K course. Once the final 10K athlete has passed through Aid Station 1 for the second time the Race sweep will be responsible for following our final 10K and 5K athlete.

Responsible for overseeing clean up and tear down at the end of the event. (***Set up on race day will be at 7:00 AM with serving food/beverages once athletes start finishing until the event ends)
