Details

Fill up cups with water and pass them out to participants who run by, and pick up all cups and make sure area is cleaner than we found it before leaving. Return water jugs and tables to the starting line area after last runner goes by.

There are multiple parking areas at Hop Brook and we want to make sure everyone has a stress-free time finding a parking spot and knows where to go once they park.

Location

Hop Brook Park. Park yourself in top parking area off of Straits Turnpike and walk down.

Do you have a lot of positive energy? Do you love encouraging others? This is the volunteer gig for you! We want to make sure there is a lot of excitement and encouragement out on the run course! You can bring signs, posters, pom poms, cow bells, portable speakers, etc. you can wear a costume, dress very festively, whatever you think will encourage people and make them SMILE!

PLEASE WEAR SNEAKERS & DRESS FOR THE WEATHER.

Perfect volunteer gig for parents, siblings, and high school students!

Do you have a mountain bike? We'd love to have someone who can lead the runners on the course, and follow the final runner to make sure everyone gets back to the finish line safely! Must have a good sense of direction and a helmet.

At the end of the run, we need to make sure that all of the cones and signs are packed up, that trash and lost-and-found items are picked up, and we leave the park looking better than we found it. Many hands make light work on this job!
