Greet participants at our barn the Friday before race weekend (5/3). Early Check-In is available for those who want to beat the line on race day!

Volunteers for this task must be organized and comfortable using a laptop or cell phone - bib numbers given to participants MUST be tracked and recorded on RunSignup to ensure accurate tracking of run times on race day. Runners will also be pre-checked in for the race during Packet Pickup.

Details

On race day, those who did not attend pre-race Packet Pickup (the week before the race) will need to check in at the Check-In Tent. Volunteers for this task must be organized and comfortable using a cell phone to check in participants.

Registrants will need to be "checked in" on RunSignup and bib numbers will need to be added to their account. Volunteer needs for this tent include t-shirt distribution & organization, bib distribution, and check-in & tracking.

Details

Volunteers will need to direct incoming traffic within the parking lots at Merwin Meadows. When the lot is full, volunteers will move up to the main road to monitor traffic and re-direct cars to follow the overflow parking signage leading them to Wilton Playshop and the Red Rooster parking lot.

After the race, parking attendant volunteers may need to help with traffic flow as cars are exiting the lot.

Volunteers for this task must have great attention to detail! Floating volunteers will walk around the race site and ensure other volunteers have everything they need and operations are running smoothly.

Volunteers for this task will also monitor the garbage situation, swap out bags when needed, look for any loose items on the park property that needs to be thrown out.
