Race Route

Volunteer Coordinator Assistant High Priority

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Pack Race Route Guide bags. Assist with checking in the Race Route Guides as they arrive. Distribute lanyards and bags to the volunteers. Work with the Volunteer Coordinator (Mary VonMutius) to verify that all map locations are covered. Collect lanyards at end of race.

Meet at 6:45 at the intersection of Fairlane Ave and Randolph Ave.

Race Route Guide High Priority

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Stand at a key spot on the race route to guide runners in the correct direction.

PLEASE NOTE: You will be out on the race route for 1.5 to 2 hours. If you need to sit down, please bring a portable chair. Don't forget sunscreen. We will supply you with water and snacks!

Please sign them up as a Race Route Guide COMPANION (see below)

Meet at 7:15 sharp at the intersection of Fairlane Ave and Randolph Ave for a meeting with the Volunteer Director (Mary VonMutius) and Police.

At that time you will be assigned a specific location on the race route. We will supply safety vests. The police will facilitate taking you to your location.

Race Route Guide COMPANION Low Priority

This task is to be a COMPANION for a Race Route Guide. It is for adults or children who would like to ACCOMPANY A RACE ROUTE GUIDE at their assigned spot.
