Details

Direct runners/walkers to the start line. Help keep strollers and dogs at rear. Ambassadors (2) greeting people & directing foot traffic. 2 people at registration desk as floaters. Will need to know general information to answer questions.

We are collecting used sporting equipment and athletic shoes to send to the children in Haiti to promote a health lifestyle and wellness. This assignment will collect and sort the donations for Place of Hope in Haiti to be shipped after the race.

PARKING TEAM High Priority

Details

Direct cars into and out of the headquarters area. One stationed at the Clubhouse entrance. One stationed at the turn-in parking area. One stationed where the runners enter the street. Direct one-way traffic at all times.

WATER STATIONS Medium Priority

Details

Job Duties: Dixie cups will be used on the course. Bottle water at headquarters. Handing out water as runners go by and picking up empty trash. 4 volunteers at each water station. Hand out water cups as runners go by – filling water, handing out water and collecting trash (bring gloves for picking up trash if you like). *Gatorade also available at mile 4 station and headquarters. Cleanup and return supplies to Headquarters. Trash dropped off at dumpsters behind Wellness Center.

RACE MONITORS / MILE MARKERS High Priority

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Race Monitors will be at each mile marker throughout the course and at all intersections. It is advisable to bring something to sit on for the duration of the race. Please bring a cell phone for emergencies.

CLEAN UP POST RACE Medium Priority

Details

You will be a member of the clean up crew to assure that the race course and park are left in pristine condition at the end of the event.
