Van Driver / Intersection Director (Baytree/Turnaround) High Priority

July 20, 2024

Details

- Drive van to where the runners turn around at Baytree/W College St.

- Set up cones and signs along the course (Todd Smoot with provide signs and road will be marked where to place signs)

- Get out of van and instruct runners where to turn around

- After last runner as turned around, follow them back to Barnes Drug Store. Pick up signs and cones on the way back to the store.

- Give signs back to Todd Smoot

Water Station (West Mary Str.) High Priority

Details

- Set up water station along course near West Mary St. Set up on the graveyard side of the road for runners heading toward the turn around.

- Pre-fill water cups and offer to runners as they pass

- Cheer for runners!

Water Station (North St.) Low Priority

Details

- Set up water station along course near East North St.

- Set up on the side of the road near the Boys & Girls club building for runners coming back from the turn around and heading toward the finish line

- Pre-fill water cups and offer to runners as they pass

- Cheer for runners!

Pre-registration table / Finish Cards Collection High Priority

Details

- Set up pre-registration table and signs

- Give pre-registered runners a bib and tshirt

- Document the bib number on the registration file (print or laptop)

- Once race starts - turn table into the finish card table and direct runners to complete their cards and put them in the appropriate basket. (Todd provides the baskets)

- Take down pre-registration table and signs and put them back into the warehouse closet

Day of Registration table High Priority

Details

- Set up Day of Registration table and sign

- Direct day-of registrants to the forms table to fill out their form(s)

- Verify that forms are signed

- Get payment from runners

- Assign a bib number to runner and document the bib number on the registration file (print or laptop)

- Take down pre-registration table and signs and put them back into the warehouse closet

- Count collected cash and give to Charlie IV
